Just Dial should be taken to task. When my wife called them for the number of a pizza vendor, without her permission they forwarded her number to taxi drivers who began calling and pestering her to inquire if she needed a cab.
When she called to know the customer service number of an appliance company, they unknown to her, forwarded her number to a local mechanic who impersonated the company and charged us 3 times the amount. Luckily for her the company service personnel also landed up and caught the person red-handed. He admitted that the number had been forwarded to him by Justdial.
Not just did Justdial do a wrong act, they put my wife at great risk. They should be banned from operating.
