I am a self confessed bachchan fan. so irrespective of critic reviews I still go and watch each of their movies be it father or son. I must say that the movie is not all that bad. I am quite disappointed at the way the critics have trashed the movie and I suspect some ulterior motive here. quite frankly it is not as good as yashraj movies generally are but it is definitely worth watching once. its made in a different kind of style and maybe thats why audiences or critics have not been able to come to grips with it. its in the narrative and tends to go a bit slow at times and is more talkative than most movies made these days.

I feel this is where the critics have sunk their teeth into the movie. actually we all have gotten so used to seeing movies with zero dialogues and only cinematography that the moment we have characters doing a lot of talking, we are all yawning. But a real movie lover likes to watch all kinds of cinema. abhishek has acted quite well as a punjabi brat. yes he tends to get over the top at times but then it appears that his character is over the top.

Lara and bobby are quite good with their roles. preity is ok - she is a bit of a disappointment cos she is pretty casual in the movie and doesnt appear to put in much of an effort. but its not all that bad. dont go thinking its going to be a mind blowing movie. it is definitely not. all the sam it is not all that bad as the critics suggest. it is worth a dekko..
