But if you wanna fly with LCCs, Air-sahara is your best bet. They are improving themselves like never before. Guess, they are determined to capture their market share back which they lost to other LCCs during their merger talks with Jet. Lets not go into finer details why the merger failed, but this incident (or was it accident ;-) has given a reason for sudden improvement in this airlines.
First time I flew with Air-sahara, it was way back in 2004. I had still liked the experience especially because I had flown with Indian airlines a little earlier than flying with Air-sahara. Now, they have come into the category of LCCs as far as fares are concerned, but they are providing the services like Jet and Indian. I flew with them recently on Delhi-Goa sector and believe me, I got cheapest fare on it. Air-deccan, Indigo & Co. were way costlier than sahara. I booked my flight with Yatra.com which gave me some more discount.
