Javed Miandad was a very good batsman for Pakistan. He had the ability to make mockery of any bowler in any situation but very often he used his mouth instead of his bat to make mockery of the players of opposition teams.
Nobody will forget the remarks that he passed before the final (with India) of 1985 World Championship in Australia : ''There is no need to play , trophy is to come to us anyway''
There are many other such incidents which brought his game spirit under doubt.
He could have played more cricket if he would have concentrated more on his cricket.
