Was about to click Yes for a 11, 000 rupees worth travel insurance while booking a ticket from Delhi to US on a popular site. The ticket was cheaper by about 500 bucks. Then realized if I have to change or cancel the ticket, the agency charges the same amount in addition to airline charges.
So the score shall be Love All!
Assuming one can ignore it, why should one pay another 11, 000 bucks for a direct flight when baggage delay or loss chances are minimal, delay will not be compensated for up to 8 hours plus one needs to get letters explaining there was delay & reasons thereof.
You pay for adding insult to injury!
Strongly recommend read the fine print. I did & returned to official Air India site to book!
