Irctc website is really usefull to book a tickets. I am using it from last many years and I have not faced any payment issues or anything. Many people doesnt know that there is an option where it will come that book tickets only if seats are available . So using this option your money will not deduct if seats are not there.
Adding to payment options , now you have paytm and other wallets option but you need to load the ticket amount before only to these wallets and from irctc website you can directly checkout without feeling any card details for the payment.
For tatkal users I can suggest you to add peseengers list before only in your account. For adding it requires name dob and a valid proof of age. And add money to paytm or other wallets. At the time of booking you can directly select pessenger from the list without typing the name and u can directly pay money from paytm without typing card details. it will save atleast total of 90seconds and the chances of getting tatkal will be very easy.
