Just another big banner and brand but has got nothing relevant to its name. Trust me, when you read the company's name. You will develop a sense of trust for it. As when I read the name I really felt that its the IRDA the controlling body/mechanism for all such products and services and I have nothing to worry about it in the first place. Well, beleive me that is a one hell of a mistake to make. Well I made it and I am here to tell you not to make it. I have applied for an insurance a year prior to claiming my insurance for my car. I had a lot of problems while doing so as the IRDA did not cleared my prior code of agency in its portal. This led to a cluster of mistakes and misunderstandings. The claim was never approved as they were using a lot of jargons only an insurance agent would be able to comprehend. Then lastly I had to bear all the expenses which was quite an amount. Tookup almost 40% of my months pay.A general request to IRDA, such a huge name please do something to keep it up or else shut it down for good. I would have givem them negative star rating if it would've been possible!
