Inside Out. Review on Inside Man

I was disappointed in this movie. I expected more action etc. Throughout the course of the film they did future interviews with the hostages. They were sifting through the hostages to look for the bank robbers. I found this confusing until I realised what they were doing. They never really showed us any of the characters in any detail. I never felt a connection with the film and didn't really enjoy it.

I felt the film should have been better with such good actors in it.

Jodie Foster isn't a bad or good character, you can't really tell.

The ending is ambiguous, did he tell, why not?

There was no real dipping below the surface. It was a superficial film and very confusing, so it was meaningless and shallow. Not easy to relax to or to really get into. The two reasons for watching a film are to relax with a partner eat some popcorn put your feet up and enjoy fantasy. Or to feel touched or changed in some way by a films meaning. This film did neither for me.

To be fair, maybe I had preconceived ideas of what the film was.
