MY daughter was a student of IGNOU for pursuing B.com course as she was doing a Post graduate course separately.
Exams schedule - Exam schedule is very much fixed, they don't delay exams and hence you don't need to worry about wasting your year because of delayed exams.
Fees - Fees is affordable but could be lesser.
Books - Books provided by institute are sufficient but they should give an option whether student wants books of a subject or not. Will result in less wastage of paper. Half of my daughter's books were of no use, for example of english subject as she is from English medium.
Staff - Staff is not very informed about anything, students need to keep asking but the staff has no answer many times.
Classes - They give classes also for free as fees is already included in the course fee. MY daughter did not need that also but we ended up paying for it.
Recognition - Recognition of degree from this institute is not enough for going for PG for well known recognized institutions. I will not suggest to do course from here unless you are just doing for namesake.
