Being a low cost airline the services and the attitude of the air hostess and ground personnel is good. Atleast they are better than all other low cost carriers and better than many high cost carriers.
I am a frequent traveler and have used almost all the airlines. My recommendations are as below:
Kingfisher
Jet Air
Indigo
Spicejet
I don;t recommend travel by any other airline as they are worse though now Deccan has been bought by Mallaya of Kingfisher so probably we can expect the service to improve. Jet lite (Formerly Sahara) is the worst airline in the country while paramount etc touch base in southern states.
As the airports are starting to congest almost no airline is on time. all the airlines are same in terms of punctuality though Air sahara is the worst in terms of everything. I had a time with Sahara where in the plane had landed and we had to actually wait on the tarmac for about 1/2 hour since the ground crew wasn't ready with the equipment to open the doors of the aircraft!
