I had ordered a book from the indiatimes store for Rs 550/-. The money was paid through credit card and I got a confirmation mail that my order would be delivered in 5 working days.
After a week when I did not get anything I called up their customer care and was told that the book is out of stock and they have cancelled my order !!!! When I asked for the refund they said that they will not give me cash refund but a gift voucher...this is pure cheating !!!
I made the mistake of placing another order of book for Rs 700/-. This time they have taken more than 15 days and still the book has not been delivered to me. I asked their customer care and they said that they do not have any information.
The indiatime guys are taking the pubile for a ride and making money...the person behind this should be handed over to Police and should be behind bars. I STRONGLY RECOMENT TO EVERYONE - PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM INDIATIMES.COM - THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND EITHER GIVE YOU BROKEN/DAMAGED STUFF OR HANDOVER A GIFT CERTIFICATE TO YOU....
