I very well know all the praise showered upon the Indian Express by every tom dick and harry..but frankly that does not matters..What really matters is the fact that newspaper should have a sustainable user base..a good business model and ability to stay afloat..yes the legendary Express which apparantly toppled over the governments of Indira and her son is now not even a shadow of its former self..it still has some decent people , but the overall quality leaves lot to be desired..Since death of Seth ramnath goenka, the express ahs just not been the same. people like chitra subramanium are actually covering the city beat…almost all of the dynamic team under shourie has left the paper now…there is not much to be salvaged now from the wreck that is express..
