My brother bought an IFB washing machine washer 9kgs, dryer - 7kgs on 2 July 2011. At that time we paid Rs 48000 for this since we felt that we were buying a good washing machine. The first problem cropped up 2 months after buying. The service guy took 3 weeks to repair. 2 problem - 12 august 2012. took them 4 weeks to repair. motherboard was also replaced. 3 problem in 2013 where the engineer commented that the machine is too complicated and he will come back. He never came back.
We gave up and bought a new washing machine. Different engineers have come and tried repairing but nothing has happened. They just don't come back. It is so sad that a reputable company like IFB takes its customers for a ride.
I would seriously advice against buying IFB since after split of Bosch the quality has just plummeted.
