Idea has a PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE department. The customer is made to feel so helpless for no fault of his and for the fault of IDEA. The IDEA front office guys(Idea outlet executives) are not aware of the procedures to be followed for basic services such as change of name, enabling SMS packs, etc.
I had to deal with the IDEA customer service twice in last 1 and a half months, and they have made a complete mess for each request. They have a'NICE' long heirarchy for redressal of complaints(starting with their IDEA Outlets, Customer service dept, Nodal officer, Appalete authority), each of this ends up at the same customer service department, which is pathetic. The higher level Officers rarely read the mails sent on the IDs provided on IDEA website. I dont understand the use of creating so many layers of grevience redressal, when each one is handled by that patetic customer care department, without the respective officer being informed.
I would say a big NO NO NO to IDEA.
