I am having the Idea Mobile Prepaid connection for last two years. Idea is one of the worst services in Telecom. First they have no customer care number. If you will call on the number provided, you will hear only answering machine. You may try thousand times but no executive will receive your phone
Secondly, they make so many unusual calls, and especially on the time when you will be driving. I receive more then 12 calls every day for downloading music, ringtones, astrology, wallpapers, jokes and hundreds others. This is just harassing somebody’s personal life. These calls disturb you whenever they like, no matter that you are eating, sleeping, in meeting, or driving.
Thirdly, they deduct 27 rupees from my card for “love quotes” messages that I have never subscribed and have no interest in reading. They are so quick in deducting the money that as soon as I recharge the phone a message comes up that such and such money has been deducted. I tried many time to unsubscribe it but no response.
Few days back I got a call from the executive that they have a scheme to convert prepaid phone to postpaid. He came to my home and took my address proof and Identity proof along with a 500-rupee note for the processing fees. Now almost 15 days has passed and there is no sign of post-paid connection and that gentle man.
Now I am planning to give up this Idea connection and to buy some other connections.
