I had purchased a 3G data card and a connection from Idea. The connection was good for 6 months and suddenly Idea stopped 3G coverage in my area. I called up customer service asking for the reason and now they are telling to use 2G which is not good for my connectivity. It is not my fault that you have stopped coverage in my area and I want to return the device for which I paid 1500 bucks and is of no use to me.
I can understand they might not be able to do this, so instead they can give me a normal SIM card with some talk time. They added some currency into my balance, not more than 50 bucks and when I made a phone call the call charge was Rs 6 per minutes..good gracious...When I called they said the charge is so because it is a data SIM and not a normal SIM.
The TamilNadu customer service is pathetic and too much of bull headed people and every time I have to tell them I am recording the phone to get a normal behavior out of them...The whole experience sucks and I will never recommend IDEA to anyone.
