I have been using Idea network for more than 7 years now. It used to be one of the best networks. However, now it is a big disappointment. What they say is actually true "ek Idea jo badal de apki duniya". It changes your life is a most horrible way. Since past 1 year, I had the worst expereince of using my phone because the Internet speed is next to nothing. They ask you to pay Rs.399 for a unlimited plan of 3 months and you can hardly get a taste of it being unlimited. First of all the network is never reachable in our house so to get the little bit of internet speed I need to stay out of my own house. After that the calling issues our the worst part. When ever I had used to be on call within few minutes the complete voice from the other side gets silent. I am not able to hear anything after few minutes so I need to discount the call and the call back again. This thing had to be repeated again and again for every single call. Whenever there is a important conversation going on this thing is most frustrating which made me feel like I should break my phone.
I even tried to call the customer service and they gave stupid reason that their company is building more towers in our city that is why the issues is occurring.
When this frustration lever started getting out of hand then I gave up and switched to another network. Comparatively I am satisfied with new network as they provide better service in the same price. If you are thinking of going with Idea network, then be ready to see your worst nightmare.
