WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER...They will lie to you, make excuses, will make fun of your issues. This is what I got from #Idea showroom today. In fact this is not the first time. I will not recommend this service to my friends or anyone who asks me about #Idea.


I wanted to change my postpaid connection to prepaid. My bill amount was around Rs.1900. I told Idea rep to reduce Rs.500 which I already paid them as an advance payment when I took the connection back in June 2013 from the same Idea showroom.


They clearly denied that they haven't received any amount from me and usually they take Rs. 250 as advance not Rs. 500. Your guys denied in front of every other customer who were present at that time. Moreover “Biju” ( that’s your representative's name) even told me that “they are getting enough commission when a postpaid customer takes connection with them and they do not need my 500 bucks. “


Now let's go back in June.. The same rep asked me to deposit Rs.500 for new connection. After making the payment I did not receive any manual bill, when I asked him he told me that "they do not have any billing facility". But I was not ready to give my money without any proof so he took a piece of paper and signed it for me.


He also told me that they have every detail of the amount in their H.O server and there is nothing to worry about. Today when I asked him about the same thing, he told me that he can only see Rs 250 in the server and there is no sign of Rs. 500 anywhere.


The same person denied that he did not receive such amount and moreover started making fun of me in front of other people. He was not at all paying attention to my issues and started behaving like a fool. He asked me if I have any fancy number or is the connection is old, did I make any payment adjustment with advance money etc. Seriously???


This is ridiculous. #Idea disconnected my mobile connection due to late payment. All I wanted is to reduce the deposit amount & #Idea can't even do that simple thing. They have no experienced customer service executives, they don't know how to behave. I am attaching the scanned copy of advance amount which your representative signed for me.


I took the same copy to #Idea showroom again this evening and still they didn't fix my issue. Instead of resolving my problem, he told me to come tomorrow. What kind of customer service is this? You guys are advertising that 121 is everywhere? THAT'S BULL**SHIT. Why call it Customer Service when it really isn't?
