Check before you opt for Idea 4G internet services. Yes guys, there is huge problem with the services which is not informed to any customer by Idea cellular Specially in Navi Mumbai & Mumbai Circle.
I ported my number to Idea and from past 2 months didnt got any 4G services on my number. When I checked with customer care they informed with in 15 days your services will be restored. The reason they informed that the services will start in my area within 15 days as I stay at Navi Mumbai.
But they keep on billing me for the services which they never probided.
After 2 months when I contacted the customer care they told me that I didnt installed the setting thats why 4G is not working. So they sent the settings which I installed on my phone. But after installing the settings sent by them the services were not active. I contacted the their outlet and was surprised to know that there is FREQUENCY problem with Idea services.
The phones which are working of frequency of 1500 hz will not receive 4G services. Only those phone which work on 2100 hz and above can receive the signals of Idea 4G
Further, calling Idea customer care is a horrible and time waste experince. Before connecting to the representative you have to go theough terrible system which keep you messed up and frustrate anyone.
