I purchased a policy from icici prudential for my daughter, it was under the compulsion of an agent who is the relative of mine, it was a half yearly premium a sum of Rs 6, 000 I paid three dues( Rs 18, 000) and a was not able to continue the dues because of my family circumstances.
After three years I was sent a memo from the company to receive my maturity amount, I approached the insurer to claim my amount, when I saw the cheque presented to me I got shocked, because an amount of Rs 4, 200 was issued to me,
I approached the staff for clarification they replied that they had waived 80% service charge Rs 13, 800 for my paid dues Rs 18, 000
unable to do nothing I collected my cheque and closed my account with company.
my humble request is not to approach private insurance companies for your policy and don't loose your valuable earned money, in case before approaching you have to get through the terms and conditions clearly and don, t agree the fake assurance by the agents involved procuring the policy from the policy holders.
