Beware if you have closed the credit card, I have a surprise. ICICI bank cheated me for a duplicate entry - I purchased on product for 19500 but they charged for 19500+19500, double entry but they delayed to process the request for more than 6 months and later they said they cannot help it as six months passed away.
Hence I closed my card a year ago. I also reconfirmed with the customer care that my card was closed for ever. surprisingly yesterday I received an SMS saying that "we observe prolonged non-usage of your credit card xxxxxxxxxxxx5003 as a security measure, we have blocked the card and reduced credit limit to INR0.00"
I was shocked to see this as already I lost 19500/- and if my card was active though I requested to close the card they told me so.
beware of ICICI...
