I have series of IBM machines, 600 series, t23, x31, t42 and so on. I love IBM, because it has a standard image of power, they don't go color on me; they dont try to inspire me and give me another decision choosing wats beautiful. They just give me the choice of performance and sturdiness; Exactly what I want.
When I am buying a laptop I just want to be sure that its darn durable and its darn fast and light and has a good battery life; IBM has it all . Thinkpads are beautiful machines like black stallions .(and no their are no blue, red, maroon stallions and if they were; I wont want them).
T41p is another one of those machines, I didn't use it for very long before moving to T42 but it is the same family, they are very fast and excellent performance, very good support and light weight. I again purchased a refurbished one for 300$ and it was worth every bit of it .
