I purchased Santro XK in Janauary 2006.My reviews on it based on first 2000 kms.I got 30000 rs. Discount because I booked it in dec-2005.
Fuel Consumption - In city with AC 14 KM/Litre witout AC 16 km/litre. Highways - Ac on 17 km/liter without AC -20 km/litre (Speed under 80 km/h)
If your speed is above 120 kmph the Average is aroung 15 km/litre on highway.
Space- Very spacious, High head clearance, easy to enter and coming out, good for
Tall and old peoples,Lots of leg space for me( I am 5'11'')
and front passenger, bit tight
space for rear seat passangers, Accomodates 5 adults easily.Rear seats
can be collapsed for more luggage.
Pickup - Its 1.1 litr engine is ver good for pickup.Its accelration is good in city and on highways
I t leaves other vehicles behind quickly
Gear Shift- Gear Shift is very smooth. I always shift the gear according to the manual.
Suspension - Its suspension was bit rigid at first, But now its very good for any kind of roads.
Reliability - Its is a very reliable car and works smoothly in hot , cold and rainy conditions.
Air Condition - Santro's AC is better than the big cars.Its cooling is very fast.
Dealer - Mine dealer is Novelty Hyundai Amritsar. Their behaviour and Service is good.
Overall In my view Santro is a value for money and a good family car
