What an awesome car -->Santro. I bought it last year in April and till now around 12000 kms is done. Pickup is excellent. The seats are pretty comfortable. And if you talk about fuel efficiency .. I am drawing an 16Km/L on Delhi roads. AC is superb.
Looks are real good.
An excellent car overall as compared to Wagaon R, or Zen , the first one doesnt looks good and the later one is too compact... seems like a matchbox.
Santro is unbeatable in its segment.
And if going on a higway you can draw an average of more than 17KM/L.
With A/C it will give you around 14.5. still not bad.
At traffic lights , its like a sleeping baby. But if AC is on.. it does makes some noice , but it is bearable as compared to any other cars in this segment.
Any one looking for buying a car around 3.5 Lakhs should go for this car for its sexy looks, fuel efficiency and a good suspension.
For getting good fuel efficiency .. try to drive on 5th gear. Make the car in neutral .. if you are going on downhill .. and switch of on red ligts. Dont accelerate or deaccelerate too much. Drive smoothly.. change gears smoothly and one most important thing is the pressure check on ur tyres .. and u will definetly get a good fuel efficiency. And on highways dont go beyond 80 as the fuel comsumption almost doubles at 120..
