I had a Santro (Black beauty) for almost 2 years (before that I had a Maruti 800 for almost 20 yrs.Santro was a good upgrade and the best thing about it is that though it looked small it was more spacious than the 800. It has a good maneuverability which is unbeatable.
*Space
*It is as wide as a small car can be, the space in the rear seat was not much, but two adults could be easily accommodated.
*Drive- ability
*The of the car is excellent. The engine revs up beautifully and has a very good response to the press of the accelerator. It is rock steady even at higher speeds. The gears change like magic.
*Suspension Tyres & Brakes *
With radial tyres, drive-ability is good and smoother. Its grip on the road is good. The suspension is good and one experiences a smooth ride.
*Interiors
*The tall body concept allows a tall guy to enter and exit the car effortlessly. A/c is very good (better than the swift I have now).
A innovative thing is the inclined footrest next to the clutch pedal. It enables you to rest your foot and avoid clutch riding. Why don't the other manufacturers copy it, it is gr8 feature
