Second Review after 4500KM

I am really satisfied to have Getz Prime. Absolute beauty.

I am very happy with Concept Hyundai - Ahmedabad, they have always been proactive for service calls and after sales feedbacks. also the service standards are also impressive. If I decide to buy another hyundai in future, I will buy from Concept only.:)

My parents always pet me for buying this spacious small car. They get royal space at the back seat. Thank god I didnt bought Wagon R.

Maintainence: zero till now except for the Oil change(625 bucks) since it was paid service.

Air Conditioning: Still a concern for me.

Fuel Efficiency: not measured perfactly but I guess, its coming to be around 13 kmpl

After 5000km gets completed, I am thinking of fitting a CNG kit. Will check for the consequences and update you guys.

All in all really a wonderful thing to have in life. I am loving it.

Hi Guyz,

I just bought Hyundai Getz Prime GLS 1.1 lt.(black) on 13th Dec.2007 from Concept Hyundai Ahmedabad. I am no technical geek but overall I am happy to select this car because of the following reasons

1. Space Inside: Mindblowing space inside, I think after going through almost all small cars, I found this car having the maximum space. Me and my family never felt any space shortage inside.(10 / 10) for this. ITS REALLY A BIG SMALL CAR

2. Exterior Look: Everybody have their own view but a black getz is a beauti queen. Accessories like Spoiler, sylyish hyndai wheel caps will add more beauti to it.Front look gives an impression of a huge car.

3. Price: Onroad 4.5 lacs(Including accessories) is really a good buy for a comfort geek.

4. Sturdy Built: Since it has retained the body of 1.3 version, its one of the most sturdiest in its class while driving.(To some extent Indica has similar). You never feel shaken at 80-90 kmph and cross a truck crossing by a foot's margin.

5. Cool Dashboard: Long space above dashboard is a big plus giving you a feeling of running a big car. Even dashboard space management is good in comparison to Santro.

6. Smart arrangements: foot rest for left leg is handy while driving, Space for a big Waterbottle behind first row seats, space below steering, adjustible backseats are all big plusess.i liked them.all.

I didnt liked

1. A/C: I feel A/C at even highest level will be inefficient in the peak summer of Ahmedabad, I am worried for that.I will have search for adding capacity or changing it altogather.

2. Acceleration: If you love acceleration, avoide this car. With A/C on(unfortunately at higher levels otherwise you dont feel it at all) the third gear is virtually unusable.I had to be lot of cautious while overtaking on highways, You just cant imagin sharp cuts while overtaking on highways.the accelarator does not respond at all.

I will keep updating later on once I complete the services, But overall I am happy with this car.
