This works as it is mentioned except for wifi hot spot.
I got befooled by the term "soft wifi". The device cannot produce wifi by itself. You will not get a wifi hotspot simply by plugging it to a USB adopter. Only after connecting it to a laptop you can form the hotspot through the laptop. This means that you have to keep the laptop powered on all the time you want to have a wifi connection.
ALSO, to have the above feature, you need not have a special dongle. It is by the feature of the laptop that you can have a hotspot around it.
So be well informed about the SOFT WIFI feature before buying the product.
