I am using this HTC Touch 3450 since 14 months. I must admit I was very satisfied with its performance in general use. However 2 mp Camera don't capture good pictures.
Inbuilt memory is very low specially for software which need to be installed and use inbuilt phone memory. Everytime I need to uninstall memory. even internet caches and other software catches I need to clean every alternate day which is very irritating.
NOW BIGGEST DRAWBACK which you must consider before buying this phone.TOUCH PAD without KEYPAD (physical) .... NEVER BUY IT....Touch pad is very sensitive things. if it's get little over pressure it's get damaged.
Even you put your key chains and phone in same pockets it's get damaged. It will not immediately effect functionality but in 1 or 2 month it will starting to malfunction things..... even on a small portion damage you whole phone will stop functiing.....
Most important things with HTC touch is it has only two key and one navigator but it has very limited funcatanllity. (atleast phone should be opearated Phonecall, messaganing) withouth touch screen.
And horrible thing is LOCKING function.... once it's get lock you can't unlock without touch pad.... with their basic two keys, you can lock phone but can't unlock with any keys... and OH MY GOD I got very horrible expericed because I were in travelling and my touch pad was damaged so it was completly stoped. and my phone got locked...... I can only received phone tha't it.... nothing else....
I went through their website... there were list of service center (some are without phone number !!!) very limited.... so I access one of their service center in Ahmedabad. .... They given me quote of Rs. 3500 For Touch pad (I found it very expensive) .... I waited for two days to find alternative but there were none.... even try to find from web to hard reset the phone but after hard resetting it's need to access touch pad ..... so I decided to change touch pad.... Now it's working but you can understand my situation !!!....
I noticed during my three visit at their service center there were almost 7 cases of touch pad problem and all have no option but to replaced new touch pad... very horrible....So I learnt never buy phone without keypad !!!! atleast you can access your phone untill you adjust with 3500 Rs. Touch pad replacement !!!! which new phone cost is Rs. 16000...
