During our recent visit on 10th November 2007 to Shimla and Manali we stayed at hotel Shingar, mall road, shimla. It's a one of the best hotel I ever stayed.
via shatabdi we reached Kolka and took toy train from Kalka to shimla. As we have planned to stay at Shimla for one day only; we haven't inquired much on hotel. And quickly select hotel Shingar. The interior are good with lift facility. The location is also very good. Its at one end of mall road. No vehicle allowed near to hotel. I found mall road incredibly quiet place, particularly when you are coming for noisy city environment. Mall road is the must visit place in late evening hour.
The staff at hotel Shingar is also very good. The hot running water which is necessity for outsider is very good at hotel Shingar. I recommend any one who is visiting Shimla.
