Dear All,
This mail is in regard to the Honda Brio car(SMT) that I have purchased on 15th April'13. I would like to state that the car itself is great, which I guess most people will agree upon. The driving experience it awesome & it is genuinely a sheer pleasure to be behind the wheels of my brio.
Having said that, I would like to add that even though Honda claims that the mileage would be 19.6 kmpl, I am getting a pathetically low mileage of something around 9 kmpl. My car is 4.5 months old & have drove around 4200 kms. I have also gone for a couple of long drives in the highways though nothing changed. During the 1st servicing, the service guy could not help me with this issue. In the same context, I would also like to add that my Maruti 800(which is 7 years old) is having a mileage of 13-14 kmpl till date. I have been driving that car for the past 5 years without any kind of hassle.
I would expect that my brio should have a mileage of around 14 kmpl at least, in comparison to the 19.6 kmpl as claimed by Honda. I have studied many reviews wherein most of the brio-owners are getting a satisfied mileage, though some are having the same problem as mine.
Now that what-so-ever has happened, I would be looking forward for your views. Kindly help me from this problem.
