My Honda Aviator gives hardly 36-38 k.m. per litre. I do not recommend to purchase this two-wheeler. Though this is comfort for riding, when the fuel prices going up time and again, I do not prefer nor recommend anybody to purchase this two-wheeler. I had purchased the aviator in June 2009 from Punjab Honda, Anandnagar. The dealer claims that it gives 50-52 k.m. per litre, but it is not so. So, do not go for this model, though you need to wait for other models. I have no knowledge of other models, I prefer you to think twice before you decide on the matter.
To my above review, I have received comments from few members that rating based only on Fuel consumption is not justifiable and that such gearless vehiclals will give only 40-42 km/litre and that it more depends on driving style, etc.. Thanks for your views on the subject. But, dear friends, I am driving two-wheelers since last 30 years - and the Aviator since last six months and I am observing the average since last six months. Am I still need to learn driving? What I have experienced with Aviator, I have shared. It is upto you and you are free to decide on your choice.
