Totally satisfying Activa(new 110cc). Review on Honda Activa

Editibd after experience of  activa with 40000+ km .

Activa is known for its tag:-low mileage, I think its  no big deal for the purpose it serves.

1.easy handling in traffic

2.comfort for rider n even its more grt for  pillion.

3.excellent pick up n power.

4.very good balance n control.

5.quality and reliability of HONDA .

6.very minimum vibration which makes it ultra smooth( best 30-60kmph)

7.great value for money.

Mileage:

40-45kmpl avg.

Braking: best below 60kmph

Max speed tried -approx 80kmph(bit unsafe, on set of vibration at 70 kmph)

longest range tried: 60km with pillion(comforting than many leading bikes)

Other pros: combi brakes, nice battery life. Spacious, a good lock! high quality paint finish.

Double stand is as cool as the side, if u practice  rightly a bit.

Good road grip and handling at wet roads much better than light wt scooters which are a bit slippery.

One can experience a mild vibration at very low speeds  below 25kmph its not an issuse were one gets an excellent pickup.

Minor cons:

front suspension is bit lagging.(telescopic might have made awesome)

poor plastics and switches quality as usual for HMSI, esp in handle  area console.tarnishes soon.

head light focus:-lightens less ground.both focus r pretty straight. though lamp intensity is high. Mechanic can fix it to an extent(if u really need)

though cornering is good, sharp cornering is not possible(its not a motor cycle!)

Personally felt: full filled fuel tank slighty reduces pickup . half tank gives a slight better pick up  than the full ., fuel suction in to the engine is little low  in full filled tank.as der is no air or little air gap bet fuel n cap.moreover the effect of gravity in fuel flow is low in scooters  than motor cycles.

proper maintained activa can never let u down.  **40000+km run activa is still smooth*
