I tried to send flowers for Valentine's Day to my wife at Mumbai through the homeshop18.com portal of TV18. They promised delivery on 14th, for orders received before 1 pm on 13th. I ordered on 12th midnight ( almost 1 1/2 days before the deadline), paid thru my credit card online, and they still havent delivered as of now, 2.40 pm on 15th.
This was my first experience with them, turned out to be avoidable. after all, even if they send it now, what's the point? the occasion is over, and I didnt have any inkling of their bad service to make alternate arrangements.
This is despite the fact that I called them up on 14th afternoon and reminded them, and even gave my order number, and was promised delivery before 8 pm! Rank bad, and media companies getting into this online shopping only means that they think with the clout of their media reach, no one will dare complain against them.
