Less ads. Review on Hit Machine [V]

I have watched channel V since its conception. Earlier the channel showed some pretty good music and was quite professional in the shows. Of late it has had the tendency to become a cross between a western channel and an Indian channel resulting in poor music which is the soul of the channel.

Whether Indian songs or western pop, it needs to turn its soul upside down and start showing good music and not all songs which any music maker produces. It also does not matter whether the songs are new or old, what is needed is the spirit to show quality music.

while most of the shows hosted on this channel and others too are directed towards specific age groups what needs to be understood is that these are supposed to be music channels and not soap boxes!

A person tends to get irritated consistently by being submitted to ads with every passing single or two or at the most three songs. Advertisement is necessary, but not at the cost of quality music. High time people in the advertising industry and the government too framed some guidelines for advertising like it exists in the states.

Has anybody watched ''Music Box'' which is screened in the Middle East? Maybe the producers could learn a few things from that channel
