A technician visited our home to inspect an issue with our stove burner. After a thorough check, he recommended that we replace the burner. We asked for a cost estimate, and after consulting with a senior colleague and sharing the pictures and model number, the technician quoted us Rs. 2450. Fortunately, we asked him to write this amount on the payment slip for confirmation.
However, we later received a call stating that the cost would actually be around Rs. 3000. This significant discrepancy in the quoted price has caused a great deal of confusion and frustration. Furthermore, we had requested that the technician include the visiting charges with the burner replacement fee during his next visit, but he insisted on immediate payment. It feels as though this insistence on immediate payment was a tactic to later increase the price, knowing that the visiting charges had already been collected.
This experience has left us with a very negative impression of Hindware’s service. While we have always been satisfied with the quality of Hindware products, the service experience in this instance was quite disappointing.
