It is one of the highest peaks in bandipur national park. This mountain peaks measure about 1454 m and is also known Himavad Gpalaswamy Betta. It is an amazing place.
Accessibility- For travelling to Himavad Gopalaswamy tourist are require to take taxi from nearby town station. Gundlupet and Mysore are the nearest town. Private vehicles are not allowed
Local Sightseeing-
Hotel/Accommodation- There is a forest department guest house available at the top of hill, where accommodation is available> Guest house provides only basic facilities. Food and other essential should be brought along by visitor.
Safety- There are proper safety arrangement by the Government.
