I am a user of Hike Messenger and I like the app.
Hike works like WhatsApp - It's an instant messaging service.
The best part about Hike is the free SMS feature - it allows to send free SMS to other phone numbers. But the SMS credit is given probably based on the app's usage.
Also, Hike also offers stickers, even ones based on different Indian languages, which makes it fun to use. That way, Hike seems better WhatsApp.
Otherwise, the app is a bit like Facebook as it allows posting of statuses and pictures and get likes.
