Pest Control for Bed bugs. Review on Hicare Services Pvt Ltd

I had approached them for bed bugs service in bangalore for a 3 bedroom house;

This review will be helpful for people looking for pest control for bed bugs.

1. There will be a character called sales guy who will not respond to your calls once you are hooked on.

2. There will be few characters called support people in 'Call Center', you are lucky if they have your details entered their database - some will say they don't know who you are.

3. Few characters call Technicians - they never come on the time agreed upon with the Sales guy; you cannot ask the sales guy as he is already disappeared.

4. These Technician characters are juniors, so they come in pair and learn on the job. They have very little knowledge about the bedbug's hideouts, behavior etc.

5. In the case of bed bugs, they offer two services in the interval of 15 days as the spray is no effective when the bugs are in egg; so when the hatch, you'll have to spray the pesticide again.

6. In my case, the I was able to see adult size bed bugs (a lot of them) the very next days of the service(both 1st and 2nd service); They are good at taking the complaints and they do attend the complaints

7. Then there is a senior technician, he is a bed bug expert. he knows everything about the bed bugs - unfortunately, he does not come when spraying the pesticide, he only visits after you complain that the bed bugs haven't dissappeared; He will give you a list of ToDo's to keep bed bugs aways. Looks like he doesn't tell these to the junior technicians who really spray.

8. For every service, they spray the pesticde all over the house; you'll ideally have to stay out of the house for one night; a lot of cleaning the next day(you'll need full day)

9. They charge you 2950 for this service - highest of all the pest controls - they dedicate this to the ex-brand name godrej and the guarantee for 45 days.(Forget 45 days guarantee, you'll see a lot of bedbugs the very next days - I don't know on what grounds they give this guarantee.)

Summary:

1. There is lot of overhead calling them for service- in terms of cleaning

2. Totally ineffective; Therefore even though there is guarantee period you will feel that calling them for another service is just a waste of your time and energy in cleaning the house every time they come.

3. Looking at the ToDo's that they provide, you will have to pretty much do everything yourself. He will ask you to renovate mostly all the affected beds and furniture; And I find out that it is the the only ways out; Bed bugs are very hard to get rid off; you cannot rely on the pest control alone. However, instead of paying 3k for these people, you can buy a bed bug pesticide and spray them yourself; You will have to find out their hideouts. This is not a one day affair - a month long project; you'll have to keep inspecting the beds and furnitures everyday and keep spraying the insecticide.
