Maintain ur Splendor... Review on Hero Honda Splendor

Well here r a few tips on maintaining ur Splendor...

first of all ....

always change ur Engine oil after every 2000kms...

the company says that u can run engine oil up to 4000 kms but see in a four stroke bike engine oil is the only lubricant for the engine..

Use the engine oil that is been supplied by Hero Honda available at ur athourised service centre.. its Mitsubishi oil.. its pretty good... but currently now I am using Castrol 4 stroke engine oil its better than mitsubishi and other available brands but the only problem with it is that it has to be changed more frequently...

Never ever go to a RoadSide mechanic..

and never buy parts from any where except from ur athourised dealer.. cause if u buy an expensive part and if it gets spoilt u can get it changed at the athourised dealer.

Always keep ur air filter clean and well oiled.. do not over oil it if u do that ur bike will start choking I mean it will give u less pick up and drink more petrol..

keep ur chain setting also perfect and well oiled.. do not use grease on the chain... if using apply it on the lower side of the chain and spread it evenly....

never fidget with the air setting and idle speed of the bike let this work be done by the professionals..

and always keep ur bike clean and polished u have to maintain her lovely looks dont u ..
