Excellent bike. Review on Hero Honda CD Dawn

Hero Honda cd dawn is very much comfortable bike. Kindly go ahead& purchase without any hesitation if u can bear

Bike mileage max 50 kmpl in city ride. I drive this bike in bangalore& mumbai traffic daily 20 km from last 7 years.

If u want to experience more comfort& grip use 3.00*18 inch tyre in rear& use 10w40(shell advance semi synthetic) or otherwise 20w40(motul 3100) engine oil.( May be I am getting low mileage because of this two alterations but in return I am getting more comfort ride.U can use mobil 10w30 grade or honda 10w30 grade engine oil if u want to follow company recommendations.

(company recommends 10w30 grade engine oil, but I am not agree with it.)

This is my second time purchase bike.I am using since 2003.

Pros are.

Consistent performer

Almost Zero maintainance

Good ride quality

Easy handling

U will not feel any stretch or back pain like other bikes or scooties.

Only average is issue if u think.

( I am getting 45-49 kmpl average in mumbai traffic nowadays) otherwise superb

Cons

Little bit uncomfortable for getting pickup

When riding with pillion in traffic.

Driving in single sitting without pillion I have always felt excellent& comfortable.

(Of course u cannot expect much with below 100cc bike.

Dont forget to keep proper tyre pressure.

I am using 28 points in front tyre(2.75*18)

& 35 points in rear tyre(3.00*18) always.
