''Hercules'' is undeservedly the least well-known Disney film ever. It should have done phenomenally well, but didn't. Shame, because I really like it! The story is the classic Hercules greek myth, born of the gods, made human, has to prove himself godlike in order to be allowed on Olympus again; we all know the story! However the Disney treatment is really well done! The songs are really catchy, the animation is good and evil Zeus is very funny, as are his sidekicks, and guess what? This time the heroine has a brain! Yes, you read right!! Instead of needing a man to look after her and protect, our Meg needs no such thing! The first Disney tough cookie!

All in all, ''Hercules'' is everything you would expect from Disney; funny, a little sad, good tunes and jokes aimed at adults that go over the rugrat's heads! Check it out for yourself!
