After spending 2.5 lac from HDFC credit card, I got 4500 REWARD points, and after spending 4350 reward points I purchased 20 rupees water bottle set, I got shocked when I saw monthly statement REWARD REDEMPTION PROCESSING fee was mentioned 84 Rupees.
On my sister's wedding, I spend one lac from HDFC credit card, When I called customer care to avail convert to EMI facility they refused to do that., and I paid 20, 000 rupees as interest in just 4 months. i.e. 43% Interest per year plus service tax.
At the time of issuing me credit card they assured for EMI facility, No annual fee, reward points and so on.,
Same thing happens when I took car loan, they forcefully sold me accidental insurance plan of 5000 rupees. Customer care executive are not polite at all. BEWARE of HDFC Bank.
