I had extremly high regard for HDFC life insurance company. Refer the mail below that I have written to HDFC Life Insurance company - and till date there has been no reply on the same.


I will seriously say that LIC is much better then HDFC life insurance company

Hi,


I had taken a Unit linked policy (Policy No: 10092752) from HDFC Hyderabad office in 2004. I had submitted ECS mandate for my policies to HDFC Hyderabad office, Refer the email below from Hyderabad office of HDFC insurance that says that the ECS mandate was activated for my policies. As per the mail below, the ECS mandate was activated for my policies on June 28th 2005.


In July 2005, I traveled to United States for an assignment. I was assured that money will be withdrawn automatically from my ICICI bank account.


Now this is what has happened -


a) Money was not withdrawn for the policy (Policy No: 10092752)


b) Money was withdrawn for my other HDFC life policy on 16th Nov 2005. I can see this transaction online for my bank account.


How can this happen? Especially when the ECS mandate was set up - AND this is confirmed in the below email (refer below) from Mr. Praveen TVL (HDFC Life insurance advisor).


My issue is - when I ring up HYD office of HDFC Insurance. I come to know that Mr. Praveen TVL has resigned. I ask for his manager contact details (Mr. N.Y.SRINIVAS), I get no response (!).


This is extremely disturbing. Just because I am in United States does not mean that I am helpless. Atleast an email can be sent to me. I do not expect this from a company like HDFC Insurance.


Treat this mail as a formal complaint to HDFC insurance. I had high regard for the HDFC brand and I am disgusted at this state of affairs.
