I recently got a call from HDFC credit card team and they offered a credit card and its "Dinners club" card.
I was told that its life time free card and they also, committed that I will a gift voucher. First the card is not free i.e. I need to pay an annual charge of 1000 INR. when I inquired about the same with customer care the response is pathetic.
They are playing a blame game but not addressing regards to gift voucher. I feel that its a trick they play and never give a gift voucher.
Most important This credit card can only be used in places where merchants use HDFC swipe machines. So, its not flexible.
So, never opt for a HDFC service specially credit card. Never opt for Dinners club.
