An experience at Cochin (Ravipuram branch). Though I hold an account with HDFC had to accompany another account holder who maintains a/c with this branch. It was really funny to notice that a lady (titled 'Personal Banker') doesn't know even how to calculate %age. Appearance and dresses and show off alone will not be ideal for a customer service representative. It would be wise if HDFC can educate their staff preferably mathematics. One of the differentiators between Nationalized Banks & Private. Also it was note that she was blunt in answering to my questions.
After realising myself being a relative to the person to whom I went her attitude changed immediately and she wants me to open an account with them. See the business attitude! Still Nationalized Banks win, they maintain only one attitude whwther it is negative or positive!
