Hi, This is one of my horrible experience with HDFC bank. Please guide me in this regard. I had done 2 2 Electronic fund trasfer from Citibank account to my HDFC account on friday 30 Nov. One was around 4k and another was around 50k. The 4k got credited in to my account with in 24 hours. While the 50k took almost 5 days including sunday. i.e till today 4 Dec. I had given one cheque to some one and he deposited on sat in his account. Since the 50k transaction was not complete till today the cheque which I had given was bounced. Can you people let me what I can do in this situation. They have deducted 350 Rs for the cheque bounce.
Please let know whether I have a chance to recover the cheque bounce amount. Also I request everyone not to open your account in any international banks. As these people are good as charging unnecessarily. Its better to open account in SBI, CorpBank etc.
