We had plans for a short 3 day vacation and the only place which we have not explored was Harihareshwar-Shrivardhan-Diveagar area. After a quick google and review search, we zeroed in Green Gate resort. We had no idea on what to expect at the place and at the resort. However we were pleasantly surprised to see a cosy, little and absolutely fantastic place - Green gate resort which is also promoted as eco tourism resort. What we liked about the place was following
Great location . a absolutely virgin beach next doors across the street . you can wind your evening walks or morning walks in peace.
Close to Hariharshwar which has a nice temple and parikrama around temple. You can also get multiple eating options in case you want to eat non veg food. You can get Modak also if you want.
Great food - personally cooked by Mrs Jain. 10/10 on that score. when you are traveling with kids, food takes a higher priority and this place scores over the rest on food count.
Clean and comfortable rooms with clean bathrooms.
Overall, we had a great experience at a great place. Thanks to Dr. Jain and his family for becoming our hosts .
you can also have a nice ride in a fishing boat from a nearby jetty .
