Haridwar , a very beautiful and holy place in india which is situated in Uttrakhand.In june I visit march and I think its is the best time to feel this city.Haridwar is called by many other names like Shiv nagri, city of gods, temples city.
As the every indian knows that the holy river of India 'Ganga' flows from this city and the famous place near Ganga in this city is 'Har ki pauri' .In every 12 Years we celebrate the Kumbh mela near Har ki pauri.
There are many temples in this city like 'Bharat mata mandir'.In this temple you can see lots of Gods there.you can also visit to the 'Chandi devi mandir' and 'Mansa devi mandir'.There are lots of many other temples.
If u can go to Rishikesh, near Haridwar umm just 50 km away from Haridwar.There are also so many temples and u can also the very famous 'Ram jhula' and 'Lakshman jhula'.
If you are the lover of river rafting.so you can start river rafting there in holy river Ganga.
There are so many hotels which is usually full in season like kumbh mela and many other religious occasion but if you have time so you should go in march and you can also enjoy the local sight seeing and also visit the national korbet park.
overall a very good city to spend your vacation and participate the aarti of holy river Ganga which is so beautifully performed.
