PLOT:
The story revolves around desmond doss-who joins the army to fight for his country, but in a way different from the rest-by not using weapons and not deviating from his principles.Initially he will be scolded and mocked for his actions but eventually everyone understands who the real coward is.during the battle of okinawa.
CAST PERFORMANCE:
Andrew Garfield who plays the lead role(desmond doss)justifies the role by showing different emotions at different stages.The remaining cast like the captain, sergeant, smitty.etc., do good performance and can be easily registered in the viewer's mind.
SOUND TRACK:
The sound track during the battle scenes take the movie to a different level.
CINEMATOGRAPHY:
No one can forget Mel Gibson's work in the role of a director.He tried everything possible to portray the life of Desmond doss on a screen and his way of direction is just awesome.
Overall the film contains many nail-biting war sequences, belief in one's own principles etc.,
