In jaipur this temple is situated near city palace, this temple is belongs to lord krishna the name Govind is the alternative name of lord krishna means cowherd. it image is originally brought by king of jaipur jaisingh dhwitiya from vrindavan. but the deity originally belongs to rupa goswami it is the third diety image of krishna from vrindavan and exactly looking same as krishna was in incarnation.
this image also called as Bajranabh(great grand so of lord krishna) as he made this images and the govind dev ji head is oroginally looks like lord krishna head the two other image form are MADAN MOHAN chest resemble lord krishna and GOPI NATHJI as there feet resemble to lord krishna's feet
the temple environment is so clean and fresh there are seven prays/aarti and bhog a day
and after they gives prashadam and it is say that going to vrindavan or coming to Govind dev ji temple gives equal fruits to there disciple.hundreds of devotees comes daily to pray to govind dev to fulfill there wish and desire.
the devotee come all month of hindu calender but the month of chetra, aashadh, shravan, bhadrap are important and the fair and festival organised in every month of holy days.
